Blade Fuse Voltage - 12V or 32V
Good fellows, I ordered for spare main blade fuses in the 175 A and 500 A current rating. That is how my high protection module is set up. The blade fuses are connected in parallel receiving supply from the +ve.
I have received my spares and one of them should be going in to replace the 175 A main blade fuse. Trouble is it is labelled 32V. I thought it should be 12V. As I am not yet at my house, I cannot check to see what was on the original. Just asking for some advice and tips. Is a 32v rated fuse safe? Same goes for my 500 A fuse.
Your astute insights very welcome.

Re: For the benefit of some reader in the future.
It is okay to use a fuse with voltage equal to or higher than that of the system circuit. I have installed my 32v blade fuse w/o incident and even confirmed that the original had the same voltage rating. I also did some reading on the issue here: http://www.optifuse.com/PDFs/FuseSel...Guide_RevA.pdf and here Frequently Asked Questions - Littelfuse at question 5 especially.
Cheers.
