Bluetooth CD Changer

You'd probably be easier off getting an inexpensive bluetooth-FM adapter that will let you connect to your phone and then play it over an FM station - many have built in microphones, and a variety of styles. They can be had as cheap as 20 bucks online, or you can spend 100 on something like the Jabra Cruisers that mount to the visor and whatnot. I use one for playing Pandora myself, but can use it for calls too if I need. I leave mine plugged full time in the rear outlet. It connects to my phone automatically whenever the car is on. From what I remember, I think our 03's use an optical interface to the changer which makes it more difficult (impossible?) to just wire something in place, like the aux inputs and whatnot. Plus the bluetooth-FM adapter can be moved from car to car if needed.

I concur with CharlzO's suggestion, another brand is Parrot. But if you want to review a Jaguar Bluetooth PDF that show its for '97 and up, but states its for '05 forward, here ya go... http://www.jagrepair.com/images/Trai..._Bluetooth.pdf
It does confirm for '05 forward about the optical connection on Pg 17 that CharlzO referenced.

It would be neat if the x350 modules could be retrofitted to x308's, as long as that PSE module exists on x308's. Sounds like if it does, it would be located near the CDC and amp, maybe only on 00+ cars?
The best aftermarket way to fit a handsfree module to the jag head unit would be this https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ration-177574/ you won't get dialing or caller ID by the head unit, but you will get the radio-interrupts and be able to use the factory mic (you will need to install the mic if you don't have it, but the wiring is already there).
This is all for BT calling though. If you want BT music, get a BT receiver and use the "hack-your-cd-changer" method to create an "aux in" there, and connect the BT receiver to that.

If soldering iron stays in hand. It is possible to put bluetooth module inside the headunit and hook it up to casette input. Against any odds a casette input in x308 radio is same quality as CD in. With this hack you lose only casette player and music is controlled through your phone etc. RDS system works normally. I did this to mine and it works great. And cheap too.
