Default Brake booster vacuum connection

Regarding the port where the plastic brake booster line connects to the intake elbow. I have searched the forum and have determined that the part number I need is C2S15816. I think anyway. The plastic vacuum pipe pulls out and back in fairly easily and seems loose.

The kit shown with this part number doesn't really look like what I am seeing. Could my early-ish 98 XJR require a different part? Will this part work?

How do you remove the old one from the intake elbow? And how does the new one go in? i have the throttle body off but the intake elbow is installed. Is it possible to perform the repair this way or does the elbow have to come off?

The forum has been a great help to me, thank you!

Mine also moves back and forth but I have not figured out how to remove it. I pushed it in and caulked it in place. No leaks so I am going to leave it alone
