Porsche 911 brake pads give off much lower dust than Jags do and have superior stopping ability
This is one of many threads on TSB's being issued for better lower dust pads

It is impossible to compare one model to the next -- obviously larger rotors with larger pads on the same vehicle will result in less dust given all the materials being the same.
Hard pads require more pressure and even more when cold. - the pad material is very specific with some manufacturers to achieve a given feel .... I don't mess with mine. Track cars are something else.
My XJR, MB Wagon, 911tt and Cayenne all have stock pads and rotors and they all dust ...... especially the Cayenne and the fronts on the wagon ....... the 911 is never allowed to get dirty.
