Default Brake Fluid Sensor

I am getting a Low Brake Fluid warning indicator, even though it seems that my reservoir is topped off. I am wondering if I have a bad sensor, and where that sensor lives. I do not see anything called out on the assembly schematic for the brake servo and master cylinder.

Anyone out there experienced this?

If you remove the large black cover over the brake reservoir, (just one small phillips screw holding it) I'm pretty sure there is a electrical connector on the side of the reservoir to an internal level float.

Maybe disconnect the connector and inspect for a good contact, tap the reservoir to make sure the float is not stuck?

I'm assuming this is the brake fluid level sensor connection?
