For a brake job, I usually end up with all sorts of things lying around. If you have a normal tool complement, you should be okay. The guide pins require a 7mm allen wrench, which does not come in most sets. I have brake cleaner, rags, AeroKroil spray or PB Blaster, 17mm socket , pliers and screwdriver for the rattle spring, piston compressor or large C clamp, mallet (heavy rubber). One thing I suggest, a car as old as a 98 should have brake hoses replaced as well, requiring bleeding the brakes. Brake hoses are cheap and well worth changing.

yeah mines complete now. The factory had the slotted/drilled rotors mislabeled, it appears that the slots are to lean towards the back of the car for that manufacturer. My right front brake hose is wearing off the first layer of shroud on a small spot, so I will be replacing them all very soon. I saw a metal set for $40 for this car. Might pick that up. Thanks
