Hey all,
Sometime this summer my 96 XJR is going to need brakes and I REALLY want to upgrade to bigger Brembo brakes/calipers/drilled rotors since very soon I'll have the 18" Penta wheels on. However, Brembo makes upgraded brake kits for every vehicle on the planet except Jaguar. Figures right?
I checked Brembos website and many other sites that sell Brembo products and had no luck whatsover. The big red calipers and drilled rotors would look amazing on my black XJR.
So I ask since I am no brake expert...what is the next best option? I am not familiar with any other racing/bigger brake kit companies besides Brembo. Recommendations on other brands that are comparible to Brembo?? Thanks!
Another member that posted a reply in the X300 section mentioned he thinks the 98-03 XJRs came with a Brembo brake set up. Is that right and would it be possible to order them that way and fit onto my XJR6?

Hi there
Yes the X308 came whith an brembo option but they don fit your car whithout modification. And the wont fit whith the wheels you are using I have the Brombo brakes on my car and i also modified a brembo kit to fit my old XJ40 pic´s are in the link in my signature
The easiest and lest expensive thing you can do if you want better brakes is to take a look here http://www.ebcbrakes.com/ they have direct fit better brake discs and pads for you r car and they do a smashing differnce in stopping power.
They won´t look as good as brembos though

At the risk of getting flamed I would suggest you put the EBC discs and pads on and cover your calipers with these:
