Default Breath of fresh air!

I have been reading about all the posts after becoming a member and have even written a few.And any one with a Jaguar would have heart failure reading all the things that go wrong, but they have to remember that this is only a small part of the Jaguars out there. My 98 XJ8 VDP is a dream car that rides better then any I have ever owned and the performance is unparalleled to any car in its class. I have all the updates and a new transmission at 122K. I have owned a few cars that got looks from people a 1965 Griffith,1952 MGTD and have gotten more plus remarks with my Jaguar then those. the only car that came close was my 1972 300 SEL 4.5 and I miss it.I have read were if you own a Jaguar that you ether need to have a lot of money or be able to do the work your self, and I believe that is pretty much the truth after seeing what some have payed for dealer repairs. As for me owning a Jaguar is really a great experience.Just my thoughts!

Nice to read a positive post such as this Bill.....People need to bear in mind that its a forum and most people visit here to ask about help with issues / repairs etc etc, so its usually always mostly about problems, although the fixes are included too

Thanks for sharing
