Default Brembo Brakes - Alloy wheel exchange

Does anyone know if the regular Jag alloys are interchangable with the alloys on a Jag with the Brembo brake package (02-03 XJR)?

Thanks

What do you mean by regular Jag alloys? The asteroid wheels?

I wasn't sure if they were called asteroid wheels, but a google search of Jaguar Asteroid Wheels returned a pic of the "regular Jag alloys" that I am talking about (attached asteroid.jpg). The wheels with the brembo brake package are attached as well (brembo.jpg)

I'd like to know if a set of asteroid wheels would fit on a Jag originally equipped with the Brembo brake package wheels.

Thanks

JF

I don't see why they wouldn't. The Asteriod and BBS Milan are both 18 in. in diameter and have the same offset. The only issue I can imagine is if the Milan's spokes are not as deep to clear the bigger calipers.

Now that I think about it, the milans were a 1/2" wider wheel. So I think you would have to run spacers if you wanted run the Asteriods on X308's equipped with the R Brembo brake package.

No they wont fit they will not clear the caliper and thats a fact and for the other pic in your message they wont fit either because they ate for an s-type and they have different bolt pattern.

If you want to have 18 inch wheels and original ones there´s only the milan and the rim´s sold by jaguar as a winter rim see link below

been there, done this...only the Milan will fit. The others come close, but won't clear the caliper. If you find extra milan's cheap, send me a note.
