We were changing the idler pulley and my brother in law hit the line and broke it off at the radiator. The hose id fine but the push on fitting is toast. Where can I get one? Is it a dealer only item or ?
Thanks for the help. This forum keeps the 1999 Vandenplas on the road!

Hi
Look at the posts in this cooling bleeder hose thread:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...nt-line-61092/
You need to purchase the radiator bleeder hose (plastic tubing that comes with the connector attached to it). All the information you will need is in the thread mentioned above.
part# is MNC4583AC

This is a Jaguar only item. I just ordered all four for my XJR -- less than $100.00 I was told .. I ordered the one for the overflow as well - Just to replace the fitting at the tank.
When new these tubes are quite flexible -- considering my 02 has 55k and they are very hard .. I would think that everybody should replace these at this point.

I ordered mine off of ebay and amazon. They were probably the only cheap things on this car, except for the fuel filter.
I did them all when I did the coolant tank because these things get very brittle over time! Temporarily, I clamped a piece of 3/8", I believe, fuel line between the thermostat housing and tank. I had to step it up to 1/2" for the tank side using a fitting. This held for over a year before I finally decided to go with all new tubing and tank. Good luck!
