Default Broken part load breather

Hi,
I was removing my part load breather to make the required checks as recommended here when the 15 year old plastic hose broke. I have taped it up temporarily, but I can't figure out how to get to the other ends?
Where do they go, and what do I need to remove to access?
Any help appreciated. I think it is affecting idle...and I am having trouble starting now.

There have been numerous repairs to the the part load breather tube over the years. Perhaps a picture of the injury might help with a response. I broke mine also.

One end is at the left camshaft cover, the middle is on the throttle body(I removed it to change mine) and the other end in the purge valve. If you remove the throttle body is easy.

Hi Polibon,

I don't know if the diagram at the link below will be of any help but thought it worth a try:

Breather System-3.2/4.0 Litre-V8 - Parts For XJ Series from (V)812317 to (V)F59525 (X308) | Jaguar Classic Parts UK

P.S. My first car was a '68 Spitfire...loved that car! Please post some pix when yours is back on the road!

Cheers,

Don

Thanks Guys, much appreciated. I couldn't find a picture like that linked to, and knowing that throttle body removal makes job easy, is a big help.
Is the throttle body removal a major task? Any gotchas?

I found a new breather at British Parts online at a reasonable price, not too much for a 15 year old part that has seen 90k miles
