Default Broken windshield washer connector in cowl

Had an ice storm that broke my connecter off last week. Have a new one on order part GJA8969AB. Will I need to take the cowl off to replace it or is there a way to get the old one out without removing the cowl? Is there enough wiggle room with the hose under the cowel etc. Don't want to break the cowl and have to replace that as well. Wanna get it fixed asap as I need to be going 70 or faster now for fluid to hit the windshield and the groundhog saw his shadow last week.

Thanks!

The cowl screws are plastic so spray them with a penetrate before hand . replace with stainless if needed .

Much thanks Lady! Exactly what I didn't have the words in my search to find. I was worried about breaking the cowl and that confirms I should be. Plastic over 15 years doesn't hold up great.

When I broke the little nipple at the cowel for my washers thescrews were no problem to remove. The wiper arm was a different story. After you get the arm mounting nut off spray it good with PB blaster and use a small 2 jaw puller.

Hardware for cowl screw are probably the same for X300 and X308 as I broke some of mine :
