Ok, I have read alot of posts about upper shock mount bushings, and figured that was my issue, but recently (okay Sat = Tires and last night all new brakes and rotors) I put tires and brakes on. Any ways tire shop said I needed brakes so I told them I would do them. Order new Brembo rotors and got OEM pads (even said Jaguar on the box) all four corners for less than $400 woo hoo. Okay back to the bushings.

I didn't notice on the left front, but when changing the right front (better lighting of just where I had the light) I noticed the bottom shock mount bushing had a 1/2 gap between the bushing and the shock eye. What the heck is with this? Do I need new Shocks or can I just replace the bushing? I can get shocks for about $75 per side, but still I don't thin I have ever seen that kind of gap in the eye before.

Any thoughts? Other bushings I should look at while I am in there? Can you just buy the eye bushing and if so, where or at least a part number so I can find it.

Just ring your nearest dealer, give them the vin and request lower shock bushes for the front, they're about ?4 each in the UK, the rears are a different matter!

at that price I could go to the dealer... I just normally avoid dealer prices... not sure how most people can afford to go to the dealer with high end vehicles.... I love my Jag, and my Land Rover, but Dealers think you drive a chuck of Gold down the street.
