Buying New Wheels
Hi all,
Been thinking about buying a different set of wheels for my XJ8, but don't really know the best place to look, had a look at a few Jags for breaking but never seem to get a response or a reply back from the owner when I enquire about just the wheels???
Any Ideas appreciated!

ebay, car-part.com, there's some sites that sell reman/replica wheels that will come up if you google "jaguar xjr 18" or "jaguar xj8 18" and make sure they're the correct model year. Can try googling asteroid or penta as well, but some of the reman sites only call them 18 inch wheels and you have to go by picture. If I had choice of OEM I'd absolutely go Asteroids.
You could also get the BBS Milans, or whatever the other R1 option BBS wheels were, but those are harder to find and more pricey, and due to the design, much much more expensive to repair if something goes wrong. They do clear the Brembo calipers if that is a future consideration though.
I've actually been looking for wheels, and I've found this one as a cheaper alternative. I think the style is more reasonable and less "flashy" than many aftermarket wheels. Finding wheels with the correct BCD AND bore dia AND offset is tricky. These come in the correct size, and have a +20 offset option, which would again clear said calipers, and match the offset of the BBS wheels I believe. http://www.visionwheel.com/wheel/19657/5850/
Coventry also sells wheels designed specifically for Jag, though a bit more pricey, not by much. Whitley is their design that is available that fits the x308, they also had Hornet which are more old-school designed, but also discontinued, so harder to find and more expensive.
For reference, specs of the Asteroid/Penta wheels is:
18x8, 5x120.65 (aka 5x4.75) BCD, +33 offset, 74mm hub bore (74.1?)
