I bought my 2000 XJR last year and it has 74,000 miles. No noises or indications of a loud cold start etc. Is there a way to check and see if the change from the plastic tensioner was carried out under recall? Can i check my supercharger belt to see if the fix was done. I was told once the repair was carried out it needs a double sided supercharger belt. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The vin is

There was no 'recall' associated with the tensioner issue. Your car was manufactured with the plastic tensioners. Unless you have documentation that they were replaced or have removed a valve cover to verify that they have been changed, you are at risk of your engine failing.
