Cannot Find Throttle Body Coolant Feed Hose Replacement
Hi,
I cannot find the Throttle body coolant feed hose for a 1998 Daimler supercharged v8.
I do not have an EGR valve. The Throttle body coolant FEED hose is a very short "L" shape rubber hose that connects to a steel pipe coming from under the engine head on the right side.
Throttle body coolant FEED
In the x308 parts catalog, it shows an item 7 that is much longer than mine and if I understand well would connect to a T fitting on the bigger air conditioning coolant feed pipe. On my car I do not have this T fitting, again, the throttle coolant feed is provided by a smaller steel pipe coming from under the right engine head.
Cheers,
Bruno

See the attached diagram in PDF. The hoses to/from TB were changed with the change AJ26 to AJ27. Since you have AJ26, the correct TB hoses are NCA3246AB (short elbow) and NCA3976AD (longer, at the other side). The cut-off point shown on the diagram by VIN up to 853935 and from 853936 (AJ26-AJ27 for NA) is not applicable to SC engines where the relevant cut-off point is up to 878717 and from F00035.
