Dear XJ8 Folks
Having pulled the interieor out of my XJ8 for some welding work enevitably some of the fixings broke yanking them out. In particular in getting the trim off the B door post (where the front seat belts run from) some of the Grommets into which the "Fir Tree" fasteners fix broke. I.e. They appear to be made of natural nylon and the washer type head to them seperates from the body of the grommet as the Fir tree comes out. So you end up with just the washer head and other part of grommet drops off inside the sil somewhere.
Having looked through JEPC I can't find the Grommet bases anywhere. I have look through this site Grommets, Nylon Screw but can't see anything I am sure is correct either. The hole in the body is 8mm (5/16") diameter. Many of the grommets you see around are for screws and so require a square hole to stop them rotating.
Has any body found a source for these grommets ?
This is pic of a good one in place with the "Fir Tree" in shot.

Edit :
I managed to fish out the bit that dropped in the hole. Here is the picture of the grommet bits put together. The grommet is on the right, for reference the Fir Tree fastner that fits into it is on the left.
