Nope... now as the weather is getting better the problem is almost invisible - it appears only for 10-30 seconds after the start of the engine if the temps are around 10-15 C. So it's not correspond to the point when the temp gauge moves up.

Obviously it has something to do with the air temperature... So the circle is closing up to: MAF, gaskets, throttle body.

At the end of this week I expect the cam cover gaskets to arrive and I'll replace them and I'll post update if there is any change after that... Meanwhile I'll use my new ELM327 OBDII reader together with the ProScan 5.9 software and I'll create kind of database with values to see what is actually causing the instability of the engine during this first few moments after the start.

Still - I'm open for any suggestions

 

I'm not sure if there is any relation between the mentioned problem and what I experienced today, but it seems that the car is running with very low mileage - today on aalmost empty highway with cruise control set at 130 km/h with empty trunk and two people in the car I've got 14/100 l/km for a total distance of 400km... I don't know what you think, but for me this is unacceptable! Besides that fact, the car was running perfectly and there are no errors recorded at all.

Any ideas?
