Car won't start, lots of codes

Early 2000 XJ8
Codes are as follows:
P0300-Random or multiple misfire detected
P0301-P0304: cylinder 1-4 misfire detected
P1316-misfire detected(1st 1000 revs)
P0121-TPS/Pedal Pos. sensor CKT/range performance
P1647-Manufacturer Controlled Computer Output Circuit
P0174-System too lean(Bank 2)_
P0327-Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Low Input Bank 1 or 1 sensor.
P0332-Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Low Input Bank 2 or 2 sensor(this code came up twice)
MIL ON-Malfunction Indicator Lamp On
Monitors viewed:
4 Incomplete: Components monitor
Catalyst monitor
Evaparotive system monitor
O2 sensor monitor
3 Ready: Misfire,
Fuel, O2 sensor heater
So, being new here and having read a little bit, it would appear the knock sensors are a common issue with these vehicles, what does this sound like and where should I start?
Also have "restricted performance" message on cluster along with the "check engine lamp". If i replace the sensors first and they seem to be rather inexpensive, is it possible that the car would start and that would eliminate most if not all of the other codes?
I will continue to read the threads already posted but I figured if I give the codes that might help with any ideas of where to start.
thanks.

If I decide to replace say the sensor code for Bank 2, does anyone know where the lowest price code can be had? By the way, the car is a 2000 Vanden Plas, for what its worth. Keep the ideas coming. Much appreciated.

Hi Tite3nbigd,
Welcome to the forum!
I have moved your thread to the forum for the X308, which is the Jaguar factory code for XJ8s made from 1997-2003. In this forum you will find lots of other owners of cars similar to yours.
JagV8 and abonano have already given you excellent advice about your battery, and I would echo their advice and suggest that if the battery has been sitting for a while with a depleted charge, it may measure fine on a battery tester but may not be able to provide the necessary current under load to make your Jag happy. If you have a meter, it would be worth testing the battery voltage while cranking the engine. For additional things you may want to try to address your no-start condition, visit this thread, compiled by aholbro1:

Battery is good, but how good? These Jaguars of ours need 100% good, a lot of times even 97% is not good enough.
Have you checked the main power cable connections, including the false bulkhead connection, and the earth strap connections, including the engine to chassis one?
This is where I would start if it were mine. Start cheap/easy/no cost, then work your way up to expensive/difficult methodically , you will be amazed at the amount of times it is an easy/ no cost/ cheap fix.
The other school of thought is to start at the most expensive thing that could cause the problem, test that, and if that is OK work down to the next most expensive thing, the beauty of this method is, if your resigned to the fact its gonna be 1000 to fix and 2 days of testing later it only costs 150 to fix your well happy. where as if you think its a zero cost fix and it cost 150 its a kick in the butt.
