CarID.com Problem

CarID.com Problem
I recently ordered a lower shock absorber bushing for my 2000 Jaguar Vanden Plas. I found this bushing on line at Carid.com. The item was listed for $30.00 plu $5.00 shipping which I thought was a little steep, but it’s a Jaguar. I received it in a timely manner but was surprised to notice the box contained TEN (10) bushings. I never checked the other side to see if that bushing was also wearing, so I decided I would keep two of the bushings and send the others back. I figured that since the mistake was Carid’s, by sending the other eight (8) bushings back, Carid could at least pay the return shipping. After a series of calls to Carid lasting almost an hour, they agreed to the return label but wanted to charge me $30 for the additional bushing. I said, “Never mind, I’ll just keep the 10 bushings. They called me right back and said that the “manufacturer” who is Land Rover - Made in Germany, needed the money and it was their decision to require the additional $30. After all the communication, I am to receive an invoice for the additional nine(9) bushings. Most customer service sites are closed due to Covid-19. Any ideas?

Yeah, ...and I'll start by asking, ...have you looked on ebay for what they're charging for those? The lowest I saw was $28 up to $37 ea.
Take those other 9 and sell them on there for $24 ea, ...and you have yourself some pocket money. I'd bet the other guys selling them would contact you and try to buy the lot for wholesale. Had it happen to me a couple times when I under priced them. If you don't feel like doing the feebay thing, contact Dave here... https://shop.everydayxj.com/Default.asp ...great guy, I'm sure he'd be interested and make a reasonable offer.
I don't know what part of FL your in, but if in Orlando, I can recommend my Tech and you can run over and ask him if he's interested.
