So When I bought my xjr a month or so ago, the CD changer worked just fine. I parked the car for a month and took the interior out to do a lot of retrimming. Everything is back in except the headliner and now my CD button is unresponsive on the head unit. I will be redoing the entire stereo in the car at some point but wouldl ike to enjoy something other than FM radio for music in the interim.

I have check all connections behing the headunit and within the center console. Nothing is disconnected. Any ideas?? I have also checked every fuse box.

Any ideas?? I have checked every connection on the back of the head unit and have checked every fuse of all four fuse boxes.

 

And now the head unit itself will only turn on every 4th or 5th time I start the car.
