I want to use the CD magazine out of my parts car in the CD changer on my new XJR. I figured I would just hook it up to 12 volts and hit "eject", but I don't see a good place/way to put power to the CD changer.

Anyone know of a simple way to manually get the magazine out? Anyone know of a safe way to get 12 volts to the changer?

The SAFEST way is to carry the entire stack out to the car and plug the CD player into the car. You don't need to remove the OLD one, just unplug the one in the car and plug the spare changer in. Pull the carpet back to expose the one in the car.

Hit the CD magazine button and remove it.
