Center dash clock removal

Center dash clock removal
The plastic cover on the clock in the center of my dash had some scratches in it. I decided to get them with a plastic rubbing compound which did a great job.
However, some of the compound seems to have gotten behind the clear plastics on the edges by the chrome ring. I can't seem to get at it to remove it.
How does one remove the clock and possibly the plastic cover and the chrome ring?
Thanks,

I see no replies so maybe i can help.
Is it the round analogue clock in the center of the vent panel?
If so pull off the veneer panel with a flat blade after protecting the surrounding dash area. It is just held on by clips. This will reveal the plastic vent panel. You will need to also remove the instrument cluster veneer panel and one edge of the airbag panel.Just pull off.
Now remove the four screws from the vent panel and you can remove the whole vent panel after unplugging the clock cable. The clock unit is just clipped into this panel from behind.
Maybe worth renewing the bulb while you are in there!
