changing fuel pump what's best brand?
hi guys my car stopped unfortunately it still crank but engine doesn't start . I checked it by obd scanner did show codes which related to MAF sensor but it wasn't really the MAF sensor I believe the MAF sensor is working but need cleaning but not change because the car was working fine but there was little vibration at cold start .
any way checked the fuel pump relay and fuses everything works fine I checked the fuel pressure there was nothing at all .
so now I want to buy after market fuel pump because the OEM is 300$ I found Delphi fuel pump on rockauto for 59$ I know it's not high quality as the OEM but if it's work fine for 2 years it's good deal for me .
do you have any experience with Delphi fuel pumps or other good quality aftermarket brand ?

Hi mobile1,
If your Jag is an X308, your Original Equipment fuel pump was probably made by Denso. Walbro and Bosch also made fuel pumps for other Jaguar models, and Airtex is another Jaguar supplier that makes an affordable fuel pump for the X308.
Please use your User Control Panel to edit your signature and add your Jag's year, model and engine details so other members can give you the most accurate replies.
Cheers,
Don

I put 2 delphi units in my 99 XJR. They're both working well 3 years later but I don't drive the Jag too many miles each year (it rests all winter) so this only amounts to 13k miles of use.
My stock pump (primary pump I assume) lasted 82 k miles so by that standard it was a good (enough) pump but I have to say this is the first car (or truck) that I've had to replace the fuel pump in so I'd judge its performance unacceptable.
Time will tell if the delphi pumps are an improvement or not...
