Check Engine light on & Low Coolant alert- Solved

Hi
After I had my coolant flushed and replaced, I noticed the Check Engine red light and the Low Coolant alert warning. I was still at the repair shop where our car just had the routine maintenance and the coolant flush.
Mechanic said that it the alerts would go away after a number of drive trips. When I got home I used the code reader and found no code faults.
After 2 days of using the car, I called the repair shop to report the alerts did not go away. I asked if he had purged all of air out of the cooling system. He said he did. Then he said that the coolant level sensor is probably stuck and to bring the car to the shop for him to fix it.
I opened the bonnet (hood), then opened the cap on the coolant tank and used a large plastic spoon with rounded corners on it to stir the coolant in the tank (thinking this movement might dislodge whatever is in tank and apparently it did).
Problem solved, no more Check Engine light or Low Coolant alert.
I thought I post this here, in case others might run into this same problem.
I also did a forum search after I resolved this (to try to understand how the coolant level sensor works) and found a posting that Gus posted on the Coolant tank. It is an excellent DIY on the cleaning and testing the tank and the sensor:

I liked the pictures and information of this DIY on Gus website so much that I copied it into a Word document and save it as a PDF on my PC . I did this in case I have to refer to it. I may have to print the DIY if I need to clean the tank and the sensor.
