Make sure you have the european spec bulbs in the sockets- find the spec in your owner's manual. Some US spec bulbs fit the socket fine but draw slightly less current.

When I bought my car, it had the exact same problems.

Take the plastic boards out (turn the clip 90 degrees, and unlock the connector).
Take all bulbs out, and bend the steel brackets for each bulb slightly, in such way that the bulb is held tighter when you insert them.
If the bulbs are tight on the + and -, the warning will not occur any more.
The problem is caused by a very slight loss of contact.

make sure to only use all brass color bulb base or silver color bulb base lights.
Even a little difference in resistance causes issues.

Default had same problem

I had the same problem...one bulbs didn't fix it...i eventually bought a used light board for the back left off eBay and it did the trick...if the bulbs don't do it...it is definitely the light boards...like mentioned use oem bulbs...i ordered mine at britishparts.co.uk
