Climate Control LCD Display fix?
Hi Everyone!
I have two Climate Control panel LCD displays which have different failures, and was wondering if anybody ever fixed the displays themselves.
1st unit: LCD display works fine, but no backlighting at night. You can't see what is selected when the sun goes down.
2nd unit: LCD display has backlighting at night, but the LCD is blotchy and barely readable. After driving a while the display starts to recover and it looks normal. Once shutdown and sitting it starts all over again.
I pulled the two screws off the back and accessed the circuit board, but stopped there.
Anybody do any repairs on these?
Thanks!

There's 2 twistloc bulbs on the circuit board that require replacing, you can do this by upgrading to blue led's - the original incandescents have blue rubber bonnets that fit over the bulb - the issue here is a blue screen and aqua/green everything else. I did a conversion a few years ago to all led....
The original bulbs are available from the Dealers - I can't remember the part numbers sorry but a thorough search on here might pull them up.
To access them you need to remove the black plastic cover on the back of the unit, a few pozi screws. Then locate the bulbs undo replace with the bonnets removed and installed off the old bulbs.
Be gentle with the wiring, this unit connects to the CanBus.
