Default Clock gone wild

I have posted about this before but remain flummoxed. After working perfectly for years my dash clock in my 2001 XJ8 suddenly started running fast - really fast - gaining 10 minutes or more every hour. I replaced the clock with a used unit and the same thing is still happening. I have been unable to locate a relay that might be defective and simply have no clue as to what might be causing this. I never realized how often I glance at that clock until it stopped keeping correct time!!

Anyone experienced this?

Here's the dash schematic, ...did I give this to you before? I'd meter your leads and see what kind of power is coming in.

Maybe this is a fault in your Xj8. Maybe you are trapped in a disrupted version of the time-space continuum and the time seems to move faster than your Xj8. Maybe you should track down an eventual fault in the electrical system of your car. But I suggest you instead trade your Xj8 in for a Xjr. If you would, you would also have a better chance on keeping the speed needed to be in pace with that rushing clock
