Thanks Eric.
Looks beautiful. Picnic tables in the rear too. Keep in touch when you can with Sarah and Car updates,we hope all goes well for you both.
Thanks for the pictures again.
PS: You can buy the correct Dye for the seat on eBay. Makes them look like new. (assumes Ivory)

Almost 3 weeks from receiving the car, and enjoyed as much as possible with it.
Either fixing small issues, washing it, or just on small rides to get some of the hospital stress off the mind.
Sarah was in the meantime confirmed with a stage 1, grade 2 cancer, after the chirurgic removal of the tumor.
That is not the best, but far better then it looked like at a certain point, and as mentioned by Neil, it can be beaten, and we will!
We also used some of the waiting time to translate the maintenance records, which go back to 2009.
As already mentioned before, the previous owner spent money on the car (some USD. 1,500 per year).
The fact that regular maintenance took place is great relieve, and gives some confidence for the future.
Below is the record.
I know it is not completely correct translated, and I am not sure on all items. I am however a bit too tired to correct it, still interested to know if you miss something fundamental.
The replacement of the tensioners / thermostat / hoses / waterpump / etc is planned for February.
I planned to do it myself, but with all uncertainty and some international travel ahead, decided to let the garage do it next month, after the Chinese New Year.
Might be in China for a while, so not much using the car anyway.

Appreciate you keeping us informed Eric,
Nor exactly sure on the technical side of what you said about Sarah but sounds a little positive. I pray for a full recovery for Sarah.
Glad to see the jag has not added any undue stress in this difficult time for the both of you. Preventative maintenance makes life so much easier.
Best of luck to you both....Neil
