cold start problem from hell

atom you speak truths - but sell it or not, I need to get it running.
here's a little updated info: there is no OBDII codes when selecting "READ DTC" ; however, today I selected "PEND DTC", and P1336 came up (camshaft sensor circuit).
to the best of my understanding, when the communication between the crank+cam sensors and the ECU is disrupted (such as when I replaced the engine), then a relearn procedure is needed.
Brutal - JTO - anyone else.....Do you think a cam sensor relearn might solve my problem?? I'm 100% certain that the idiots that did my engine swap did not do a relearn. Please share your thoughts.

I'm not sure why you are posting on a thread that's almost ten years old instead of starting a new one.
You need to show what codes have been stored, and more important, find a mechanic who does not keep throwing parts on the car because he doesn't know what's wrong. You are wasting a lot of money.
