What is the small compartment in the engine bay on my 2002 Vanden Plas for? It is located on passenger side by windscreen underhood. Has a cover and nothing inside but plastic, no slots or filter etc..

Thanks, any idea where a person could pick one up? I love car shows and clubs. Any suggestions regarding Jaguar Clubs/ Shows etc...? This is a very nice forum.
My wife drove our used 2002 to work today for the first time. She called to tell me this was the nicest car we have ever owned. I hope I get to drive it now that she has figured that out.

 

You'll probably find it easier to source one in the UK than in the US.
