Coolant fill tank and upper shock mount bushings
2002 xj Sport
The coolant fill tank on my car has started leaking/seeping very slightly. So time to change it. Don't want it to burst on a drive. Seems like a pretty straight forward job. Anything I should know before replacing it?
Also, what are some of the best upper shock mount bushings to buy?

.
The upper shock mount plates complete with bushings can be purchased very economically from Rock Auto. $18 bucks each Left and Right and easy to install. Several forum members have purchased these Rock Auto parts, myself included, and been very happy with them.

Looks like they also have the coolant recovery tank at a reasonable $105 bucks.

Or you could go OEM for just $126.00 (Item #9)

Also, one of the hoses on the fill tank doesn't "snap" into place like the other two. Should I buy a new one? No matter how hard I push, it doesn't snap in.
For anyone that has to change the expansion hose. It's easy. Carnival kid is right. Simply unclip those tabs along the fender, pull the hose out from the tank. One side at a time. Putting the new hose is was kinda tricky. But I routed it slowly and looked at the pics I took prior to removing it. But man, those Norma clips are a PITA.

Not sure about the "metal shavings' in your old cooling tank, some have suggested that some of the leak-stop products have what look like metal filings as part of the product, others say deterioration of the coolant can sometime break down and produce similar looking filing debris, I can't think that it can be literal metal filings from the water jacket, water pump or radiator. Bit of a mystery............pity you can't post a pic.

So I put lube on the o rings of the hose that doesn't snap into place. Well, now it does snap into place. But, you are still able to pull it out without opening the tabs on the side. While the other two, you can't do that. I'm not cheap by any means. But I'd like to have the car back on the road. So should I still by a new one?
