Coolant leak, 2000 XJR, please help!
I recently fixed the common "lines out of the expansion tank not crossed" problem with my 2000 XJR, which solved the "recovery tank puking all of my coolant onto the driveway" problem. But, this apparently put more stress on the rest of the system, and something else let go, as I got back from a hard run and noticed it dripping coolant off the back of the engine. I read up and it sounds like it's the common hose under the blower failure, as the valley is wet and the coolant's running off the back of the engine and off the right side of the transmission. But there was also some coolant puddled in the ribs on the top of the blower snout, and no corresponding wet spot on the underhood pad, so i don't think it's spraying up from underneath. Could it be the balance pipe accross the front of the intercooler boxes? I'd really rather not pull the blower if I don't have too. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Edit: Oh, also. Anything I should go ahead and replace while I've got it torn apart if I do end up having to tear it down? Are the upgraded intercooler seals worth it? How about the water pump (still OEM for now)? Should I just go ahead and replace that as well while I'm in there?
