Default coolant leak

I have a slight coolant leak in a part just above the water pump. Fluid is coming out of a crack in the top part. has the radiator hoses going into it. looks to be separate from water pump. What is this part? and how is it replaced?

It is probably the "water outlet pipe".It is hard plastic with several hoses attaching to it?

I had the same thing happen to me, it cracked and had to replace.

In addition to the "water outlet pipe" there is the thermostat housing, which is also plastic. You can find aluminum replacements. I'm planning on replacing all that plastic crap one of these days.

I would not delay getting it fixed - replacing with the metal part is the way to go.
