Cooling fans not coming on, heater blows hot air

Hi,
I just had taken off and on my front end when wiring my meth kit. When doing the test run, I noticed I was not hearing any cooling fan noise. The car was moving and I ran the heater and fan and it was blowing hot (not too hot) but blowing clearly hot enough air that the cooling fans should have been on.
Is there no indicator to show if I somehow managed to disconnect a cooling fan??
I don't yet have the realgauge hooked up, but will work on that very soon.
This is what I think I must have done (accidentally disconnected the fans) when putting the front end back on, I will check tomorrow when it is light out to try to fix.

I started the car this morning:
Cold=no fan
Turned on A/C with heater on = both fans running slow
Turned off A/C with heater on, fans still on slow
I'm not sure why the fan was not working last night but is now...I'll check it later after letting it come up to running temp.
As always, Thanks for the advice
