Cooling hose replacement

Hi, everyone I'm new to this forum and recently purchased my first Jaguar. It's a 1995 XJR and it just burst the hose from the water rail to the water pump. I purchased a complete hose kit and wish to replace every hose now for obvious reasons. My question is this: Do I have to remove the supercharger to get to the water rail hose and the lower radiator hose? If not, what do I need to remove to be able to access the clamps? Does the water pump need to come out? I have a CD-ROM manual but it is worth-less. Thanks for your help - I am dying to get back on the road!

I just did my wifes as the gaskets for the rail failed, so you better get those too. I removed the intake and is so much easier to access, I wouldnt want to even try without removing the SC. Im sure you probobly could but sometimes its easier to remove alittle more than fight, cuss, and just totally wish you never attempted it all in the first place. But Its been years since Ive done all the hoses on a SC, and have slept since then, but yes remove it, and replace everything while youre in there, air pump huse, vac lines, etc. And remember to clean and the corrosion off the aluminum and put in a new thermostat, and while youre at it blow out the heater core, and use the new style red lifetime coolant over the yellow, its better anyway.
