These will match my ceramic coated blue Eaton.

What do you think?

The rest of the engine bay is not on a par with these at all yet.

But WOW ! I love these! I'm going to wait until I need to pull my sc for some reason or another before I put these one. But how cool are these? They are nice and clean on the inside too, and slightly ported (couldn't help myself)

Where do I get a lexan hood so I can show these off!

You two seem to be thinking along similar lines.

I wanted to keep my engine bay more go than show. Charge coolers were painted to match car's meteorite silver. Outlet elbow polished. Thanks XKRacer.

Actually, these are/were his. I got them from him this morning at the Cars and Caffeine event in San Jose. This is a set that was sent to him that did not fit. The seller said they were off a 2004 XKR, but they were not, but lucky for me they do fit my car.

He didn't find out until after they were painted. His car is looking pretty awesome though. The not too bright blue leds around his headlights are actually pretty mezmerizing when he rolls into a parking lot. With the carbon fiber parts and huge wheels, etc, his car really looks more like a super car than you would expect a jag to be. Somehow in the photos it looks more cheesy, but you really have to see it in person, and in motion, to appreciate it. Having the more conservative looking 4 door saloon, I personally find it more entertaining to take the sleeper approach for my own car, but I can certainly appreciate that he is having fun customizing his car. It is the only one like it. When I look at his car, I'm tempted to look in the interior to find a switch labelled "rockets" or some other James Bondish accessory.

That is a good look, especially when it is consistent with the silver color.

I'm still keeping my car as sleeperish stock XJ8ish looks on the outside. XJ8 Badge on the back is enough to fool just about anybody, no visible boost gauge. If someone knows jags it is pretty easy to figure out. It is fun to add a little spice under the hood, looks wise. I would not have paid the original price for the airbrushed flames or ceramic coating, but the price was right so I am quite happy to put these on my car. Rob has been supremely generous with info and parts.

Sweet! I like it when you can actually see the motor, as mine is covered in spaghetti.
