Default Cowl Removal

The cowl(piece between the hood and windshield) needs paint. How do I remove this? I've taken the screws out and it is now lose. It appears the windshield wiper is keeping it on along with the fluid hose. Any help to get them off would be greatly appreciated.
Also the cowl piece appears to be a dark grey in color. Is this correct? My color is Titanium Pearl if that helps.

You do have to remove the windshield wipers and washer hoses. A tool like this one is needed:

. . . and yes, mine is dark grey but there is certainly a correct paint code for that.

Does anyone know what the correct color should be? Or what is a close alternative?

Is there a cover on the lower part of the wiper arm? In order to pull the wiper.

yes, there is a cover over the nut that lifts up from the bottom. Be careful not to pinch or cut the washer fluid hose. Under the nut then tilt the wiper arm away from the windshield until it stays. Then you can rock the arm back and forth off of the stud. The hose disconnects right at the cowl, rotate it back and forth with pliers right at the connection.

Just a wild guess, but it might be the same dark grey Jaguar was using on the XK series: Dorchester Grey 342/LPD.
XK owners also use an alternative, being Duplicolor Graphite HWP102.
Might give you some leads, maybe not
