In the Dark: LED in window switches, trunk and door courtesy light
My mechanic and I are stumped over the root cause of LED power window switches that dont light on the passenger front, as both well as both rear doors. Switches are good and windows operate properly. Tried replacing with new switches and still no lights.
Only driver side window switch pack works.
Had all the door panels out to check connections and grounds and after putting them back found that the trunk lights do not work now and the rear left switch went dark. Also, the right, rear courtesy light in the door, the one with the red lens, is out. (all other courtesies work)
Should have left well enough alone, right?
All fuses, connections and grounds checked. Coutesy bulb good. Battery is two years old.
In the scheme of things, small problems, I know, but any suggestions?
Thank you!

They're incandescent bulbs not led's - although you can replace them with led's - it's a very fiddly job on the actual switches, because you have to strip them down completely. The bulbs have probably blown after 10 years+.....
The puddle light is a simple w5w bulb, you can access it by putting a flat screw driver in a tab and releasing it to remove the lens.
Trunk lights might be a worn/broken wire at the right hand hinge on the trunk/boot you'll have to put a test meter on the bulb holder then chase it back to the break. A common fault on these cars.
