Smile Deeply Hidden James Bond Feature

From the XJ and XK Series 1999 MY Update Jaguar Technical Guide:

"Barometric pressure is sent to the TCM from the ECM; variations in altitude affect the engine torque and this data allows the TCM to select an appropriate shift pattern."

These are beautifully engineered cars with so many hidden features.

Whew, for a minute I thought you were going to reveal the car-to-car tactical traffic abatement option!

I've pushed EVERY button on mine, and I have yet to find the Rocket Launchers.

I just hope I don't accidentally find them while sitting in the driveway aimed at the house...

For God's sake........WHY are you setting in the driveway, aimed at the house?

There are only two things you should do with your Jaguar.
Drive it, or fix it again, so that you can drive it.

There was many a time, when driving with my ex-wife, that I wished I had bought the ejection seat option...

I love that quote and it sums up my life at the moment - I wake up deciding what to fix today, fix it, then go driving to test the fix. I'm not sure I need a test drive to make sure that the drain holes are clear but I drive it anyway.

I agree. I "test drove" mine one time after installing union jack center caps. I also send pictures of the car to friends after I change the oil. They're always rolling their eyes about my car anyway, so it's good for em!

Now on my fifth: the ejection seat option would have been my favorite, except for 3 - 4 (I'm a slow learner), she liked to drive my first X308 and she might have launched me first!😂
