Disabling the Reverse Park Aid System

Disabling the Reverse Park Aid System
I would like to take a rest from the beaping of the park assist sytem and disconnect it. I would not mind it if I could turn it down so that it was not so annoying but I think it is udner the rear deck cover. Maybe Jaguar hid it there knowing we would want to ahve a word with it if we reach it easily. Also, I have not found a fuse nor a relay that I can remove to silence it.
I think the little monster lives under the the rear deck. I see a huge wiring harness above the gas tank passing through the sheetmetal of the rear deck but there are so many wires in this harness that they can't all be the park assist, so i have not disconnected the harness.
Does anyone know an easy way to disconnect or quiet the park assist with out taking out the rear seat and back to remove the rear deck cover?
thank you for any tips

1. remove boot board or spare wheel cover from the trunk.
2. locate fuse box a big black box towards the rear bumper on the left hand side in front of the battery.
3. remove cover via side clips.
4. locate the reverse parking aid sensor module, as in picture.
5. disconnect the left hand side connector of the sensors.
6. enjoy silence then a bump from hitting something you didn't see!

Thank you for the help.
Sean B - Your point#6 is well taken about hitting something I can't see. If I do I will probably hate myself
When I start the car to back out of the garage it warns me that I am already hitting something.
Delta66 -I didn't mention that I have an 01' VDP S/C, mine does not have a button on the overhead console
I hope my car will tolerate my disconnecting the module. It may react like HAL in 2001 space odessey and and lock me out of the car. The message indicator may suddenly advice say "Please climb in the trunk to check for water leaks Dave"
"Daisy, Daisy..."
I had better rethink my plan!
