Can we have more information on your car? what model, displacement, year?
(fill in your car details on your member page for instance, helps a lot when asking about it)
There are a lot of variations between model years 97-02. The pictures are not clear enough for me to i.d. The link lead part number would help.

It looks like one of the lambda sensors connector; check on the top of the gearbox(engine-bellhousing area), there must be some connectors there, fixed by a metal bracket (mines here, have four connectors, due to late Euro 3 engine, yours may be early type with only two).

We do like to get to know each other here.
When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.
