Default Does anyone know how to erase the "homelink" codes?

... in an XJ8? I programmed it to open my garage doors and now I want to remove all programming from all 4 buttons.

Thank you!

If the XJ8 programing procedure is the same as the XK8, erasing all the programmed transceiver buttons is done by:

1. press and hold the two outermost buttons until the indicator light begins to flash after 20 seconds
2. release both buttons

This puts the transceiver back in learning mode.

Here's the full setup procedure from the XK8 Handbook. I don't have the equivalent XJ8 Handbook section.

If this isn't the same for your XJ8, I'll dig deeper for the information.
