Angry Does anyone know what this is called??!! GRRRR!

Hey all-

Im looking to see if anyone know what this called or have a part number or any other information?

(See Photo)

What you're looking at is the wiper blade the rubber hose and nipple that the hose attaches too. The arrow shown points to the part needed.

The nipple coming out of the dash has sheared off. I am in need of a replacement.

Hi m1eckler,

What is the year and model of your car? I looked up the parts diagram for an X308 but it doesn't match the illustration you posted. Here's the illustration from jaguarmerriamparts.com (Gaudin's site would have the same diagram):

Here's the diagram from the Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC), which you can download from this forum and install on your computer:

If the part you need is #8 in the diagrams, then the part number GW2059 posted is correct, GJA8969AB. jaguarmerriamparts.com (Merriam, Kansas) lists them at $7.33 each:

2003 Jaguar XJ8 Parts - Jaguar Parts Center - Call (800) 510-1401 for Genuine Jaguar Parts and Accessories

gaudinjaguarparts.com (Las Vegas, NV) lists them at $7.16 each:

Jaguar Parts - Direct JPLV Porsche Parts.com

Depending on which Utica you live in, compare the shipping cost from Gaudin or Merriam. For shipping east of the Mississippi, Merriam usually offers a lower total price. For shipping to the West Coast, Gaudin is usually the least expensive.

Cheers,

Don

I replaced this exact part today on my 99 VDP. I got the part off Ebay. The seller was Jaguar Columbia, Columbia S.C. The price was $10.97 with free shipping. The part #is GJA8969AB.

m1eckler,

That's great. Please report back when the part arrives and let us know if all is well. Also, it's a good idea to add your car model and year to your signature line so others don't have to guess. You can easily add the info to your signature in your User Control Panel. Hover your cursor over your username in the upper right corner of this page, and in the dropdown menu click on User CP. In your Control Panel, find Edit Signature under Settings & Options.

Cheers,

Don
