Should be easy to replace if the wiring is still there. The catch is that the 6x9 "subwoofer" is a dual voice coil unit. I can't remember off the top of my head if it's dual 2 ohm or 4 ohm, but google will know (and most likely link you to threads on here... I'm just too lazy to do it myself, sorry).
I'm not aware of any aftermarket 6x9s that will fit straight in and maintain the dual voice coil setup. You don't want a single voice coil speaker, they just don't work that way. The reason for the dual voice coil setup is that the amp runs two sub channels, one for the left and one for the right, and then sends both signals to the sub.
If you have a car stereo outlet near you that deals in medium to high end gear they might be able to find you something. I wouldn't waste my time at the lower end shops though.
