Default Does this sound like a reasonable quote to you?

Hello Gentlemen!

I was quoted $215 (labor only) to replace the 4 front shock bushings in my 01 VDP. I supply parts. Is this a reasonable labor charge? Does anyone happen to know the time estimate for this job? (And to confirm, 2 bushings are needed for each side, correct?)

Thanks so much,
SirJag

Since labour rates vary by geography, it would be more useful to state the number of hours that was quoted to you.

Default More info

Thanks Plums... I live in CA. The mechanic didn't quote the number of hours, just the flat rate.

Many thanks,
SirJag

If you are happy that the mechanic knows what he is doing and will stand his work.
I go for it.

IMO that would be 2 hours work on a Jag in Oz.
