hi all my nearside door has stopped working , as i still have one off the old x300 is it a easy enough task to do? that is if its a straight swap,does anyone know please thanks in advance to all that can help

 

The Parts Catalogue suggests you're in luck with a straight swap of LH Powerfold Door Mirror from X300 to X308

thanks for that info GGG will have a go at weekend what door trim do i have to remove

 

As far as I can recall from my X308, the top trim panel has to come off which involves removing the veneer trim.

Here's the JTIS sections covering the procedure:

You should only need the first two but I've included the section on removing the door trim panel as you'll be lucky if you never need to take this off at some time during your ownership!

thanks GGG changed door mirror easy job even for an old git like me, i noticed there are more wires on the 308 than the 300 on connecter but the mirror ajusts up,down and left to right. pos the other wires are for the fold action but did not have power fold mirrors anyway, thanks again
