Dreaded P0730
Hi All
Just picked up a X308 2003 125K Kilometers on it. I purchased it with the P0730 code and of course it is in limp mode.
Drove it home in 4th or 5th gear. Got it home and did a hard reset, drove it down the road and it does the rev and jump/bang thing and right back to limp mode. But no objectional other noises from the transmission, so I figure the drum is still good.
I plan on doing a filter change and the transgo PR valve upgrade. Also noticed the right rear tire is really worn on the inside so I will also check to see if there is a problem with that wheel sensor.
I did notice on the drive home that the cruise control was still operational.
I seen some posts that there could be water dripping into the TCM and or PCM from leaks in the windshield and or sunroof drain?
Always up for free advice.
Cheers

Sounds like you're up to speed on the trans. Look for metal bits on the pan magnets when you install the transgo valve assembly.
The rear tire, inspect the lower shock bush for wear and play, the eccentric suspension bolts may not be set up correctly, a 4 wheel alignment should tell you what the issue is.
