Dreaded Restricted mode

Dreaded Restricted mode
Ok, so my wifes cat got the dreaded restricked mode last Friday. It has been getting it off and on for a few months but wasn't throwing any codes.
This past Friday it left her stranded a few miles from the house. She was able to limp it home. Was able to pull codes P1121 and P1222.
Every thing I have read here and other sites is the throttle body. Of course it is probably just the TPS, but it isn't available separatly.
I don't have the $2300 to drop for a new one, so off to ebay.
I found one for a few hundred but the numbers on the TPS aren't identical. Does anybody know if it will work? My TPS has Denso 198500-3250. The one on ebay has Denso 136800-1240, but the TB looks identical to mine.
Any help would be appreciated.
BTW I have the TB off and have completely cleaned it. I'm waiting on a new TB gasket before I put it back together and test it.
2002 XJR.

You can have your 2002 XJR Throttle Body rebuilt at ASI in Tennessee on Ebay for $276.68 (price reduction since a month ago -was $326) free shipping from rebuilder to you. Ebay item# 380443798745. Your TPS Denso 198500-3250 is Jaguar part# LNE1560BA (is superceded into part# C2A1445) - the Ebay listing has part# LNE150BA needed for rebuild service. See Ebay item that had a bad sensor and sold for about $90 (Ebay item# 370638746997 - shows Denso 198500-3250 asJaguar part# C2A1445).
We had our 2001 XJ8 Throttle Body rebuilt there about 4 weeks ago. Looks and works like new - install was plug & play.

So now I'm in turmoil. I just got done putting the old TB back in after cleaning it and the electrical contacts very well.
I cleared the codes and she fired right up. Took her for a short ride and she is purring like she did when we first got her.
So what to do. Do I wait for it to leave us stranded again or do I just bite the bullet and send it off to be rebuilt? something that may not need it?
For those of you that have had this problem and fixed it by cleaning the TB, how long has it lasted? Did you eventually replacing/repaining the TB?

Try this:

I'll bet it was the connector and just unplugging and replugging fixed it. If you do the above, I'll wager it doesn't come back.

Thanks D,
I cleaned everything really well not just using contact cleaner, but used and old trick we used to do back when I was in the navy, and that is using a really stiff eraser to clean the contacts. I shaved a piece off of the eraser and glued it to a stiff wood shim. For the plug end I took the connectors apart and cleaned them using a wire wheel on my dremel. Then cleaned everything with contact cleaner.
