I have just purchased a used 2002 VDP and love it. But we are having issues with the front left door locking. Basically it only locks when placed in gear. I cannot lock it by pushing down the chrome button nor by the central locking button. The other doors are acting "normally" as I understand it. They lock and unlock with the central button, passenger side button, or the passenger door handle. I do not have key fob yet so I don't know it if will work that way.

When I put the key in, it will unlock the passenger doors, but I cannot turn the key counterclockwise.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
